Joshua Akdupje, a 26–year-old central defender from Nigeria, will strengthen Istiklol's defensive line.
The club's newcomer, 192 cm tall, was born on July 23, 1998 in Lagos. He started his professional career in his homeland at the MFM club, then played in the Baltic States for the teams Daugavpils, Panevezys, as well as the Czech club Jablonec.
The player joined Istiklol from the Ilves club (Finland). He has 141 top-level matches, 3 goals scored and 2 assists.
